Gillespie (Ohio University) and Keith M.\u00a0Harris (University of California-Riverside).<\/p>\n<p>Race as a constitutive, cultural fiction has always been a consequential element of history,\u00a0social life, and art practice. With this in mind, the editors seek inquiries of black diasporic\u00a0cinema that frame this conceptual field with a concern for visuality, blackness, and the art\u00a0of cinema.
